Private Property Snow Removal
The Town would like to remind everyone that Traffic Bylaw 1941-06 states that:
"No person shall place or permit to be placed any snow, ice, dirt, debris or other material removed from private property onto the highways or other public places of the Town."
Snow, gravel and dirt being disposed on roads and ditches creates a number of problems such as poor visibility, rough road conditions for motorists and pedestrians, backup of ditches and culverts resulting in poor drainage and possible flooding in spring. Snow should either be kept within your property boundaries or hauled to the snow dump area off of the Ring Road at 50 Avenue.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Other Notices
Residents MUST remove their driveway curb ramps for the winter months. The Town will not be responsible for any damages that may be caused by Town equipment during snow removal and street maintenance.
Thank you for your cooperation.
